Facial Massage Remedy Cramps Sooner

Article by Fred Haines

When I wake up in the morning I look in the mirror. I see my face! Aagh, what happened to me, where is my young face? Through my years it has disappeared. I need a refreshing look. My high school reunion is coming up and my skin is tight and dry. Sure, I have aged and have three little girls. But, who knows that? I think I need a massage. Not one to make me feel better, but one to make me look better. I need a facial massage.

Massage is the manipulation of superficial layers of muscle and connective tissue. This is done to enhance function and promote relaxation and well-being. If you are looking to modern medicine to cure your issues, maybe you are looking in the wrong place. The art of massage dates way back, back to over 3000 years. It has been documented by the ancient Hindus, Persians and Egyptians. They all applied forms of massage for many ailments. Hippocrates even wrote papers recommending the use of rubbing and friction for joint and circulatory problems. Facial massage is recorded far back in other cultures, but the Western version is a recent twentieth century innovation. Many European practitioners have come to the US recently to teach others.

So, do you think this can benefit you? Does your skin need more moisture? I know mine does. When the face is massaged, the body’s circulation is increased and this reverses signs of aging. Skin tone and texture will improve, as well as redness, fine lines and wrinkles being reduced. Do you have blemishes? These can be reduced, as can blemishes with a facial massage.

Facial rejuvenation is also known as Indian facial massage. This is better and less invasive than a surgical face lift. When stress is relieved (as it can be with a massage) your face will look less stressed and more relaxed, resulting in a younger look that shows on our faces.

Do you think this is the limit of a facial massage? No, there are other benefits. Do you notice how your child’s skin glows? It is so soft and beautiful, it is blemish free and not in the least bit puffy. Healthy skin is an indication of a healthy body and mind. Collagen production is increased, and this helps to diminish wrinkles. It also tightens the flesh under the chin, thereby eliminating a double chin, which, incidentally, occurs in slim as well as fat people.

I know that in my experience as a mother, the children are always the first to have lotion on the faces at night, the first to have sun-screen in the sun. I make sure that they wear hats, I watch their faces for redness, and if too red, I bring them in from the sun. Me, I am the last, often the one not to, have sun screen applied. No-one watches for my skin, but myself. My face, with age needs more protection. Since I have three girls to watch over, it is comforting for me to know that dryness and over-exposure can be helped by a facial massage. While it won’t relieve all that ails my face, I think I can still go out in company of people my own age, and not feel aged due to a facial massage. I know I will not be looking the worst in the group!

Body Massage: Remedy Cramps Faster

Massage has been used dating back 3,000 in ancient China. Most ancient civilizations years document the use of massage. The ancient Hindus, Persians and Egyptians, as well as the Japanese, Romans and Egyptians applied different forms of massage to cure a variety of ailments. Hippocrates wrote papers recommending the use of rubbing and friction for joint and circulatory problems. These days, here in the 21st century the United States has adopted some of these, and have made others our own. Many different forms of massage therapies are used to offer specific benefits to both the mind and body. When I had my first full Body Massage I was thrilled at how I felt afterwards. As well as feeling refreshed, my skin felt great. This was a bonus!

Upon receipt of a full body massage come the benefits of better sleep, healthier joints and muscles, as well as less stress, better circulation and even digestion. There is a whole series of different massage methods that work from the skin to the deep tissue and organs, with even a variety of oils and scents.

In order to give a massage, specialized massage tables and chairs are used to position clients during massages. A typical commercial massage table has an easily cleaned, heavily padded surface, and a horseshoe-shaped head support that allows the client to breathe easily while lying face down and can be stationary or portable. This is cleaned between massages, keeping everything very hygienic. An orthopedic pillow or bolster can be used to correct body positioning. Sometimes, mats are used.

As well as using tables, chairs are often used. These, like the tables can be either stationary or portable. Chair massages are popular, as massage chairs are easily portable and can be taken to a mall, office or other public places. The client is not required to take off his/her clothes (as this is in public!) in order to sit in a chair for massage. Massage tables are not appropriate for public locations as these are heavy to carry, and generally the client will disrobe and be covered with towels.

A complete body massage is very personal to many people, and generally entails arms, back, begs, front and back and shoulders being massaged. As all of us have different ailments we all need a tailored massage to suit our own needs. We need to be completely comfortable with our massage therapist, as we are generally completely nude, with towels covering for modesty. Each part that is being massaged will be exposed, while the rest is still covered.

A full body massage is great to help people who want to unwind and relax! It is very relaxing. Some of these include Swedish, holistic, deep tissue, and aromatherapy. These massages will leave you full of life, invigorated! In the United States there are about 90,000 massage therapists. Most states in the United States require a license to practice massage therapy. If a state does not have any massage laws, then the national certification in massage therapy is not required and a practitioner need not apply for a license with the state. Training programs in the US are typically 500-1000 hours in length, and can award a certificate, diploma, or degree depending on the particular school. Incidentally, in South Korea only the blind and visually impaired are allowed to practice massage therapy!

The ancient Hindus, Persians and Egyptians, as well as the Japanese, Romans and Egyptians applied forms of massage for many ailments; and even Hippocrates wrote papers recommending the use of rubbing and friction for joint and circulatory problems. In the modern United States we now use many different kinds of massage therapies, each of which offers specific benefits to the mind and body. Full Body Massage is one of the methods. I have had many of these, and always leave feeling great. My biggest surprise was how great my skin felt afterwards.

Full body massage comes with many benefits including relaxation, leading to better sleep. It can ease stiff joints and also aids circulation and digestion. A full body massage can involve a series of movements that work on the surface of the skin. This, as well as many organs, are left feeling refreshed. A deep tissue massage may ensue, relaxing any muscle ache or pain.

With any massage, special equipment is used. For commercial use, a table with a horseshoe shaped head support for ease of breathing while lying face-down. It has a padded surface which is easy to keep clean and remain hygienic. Mats and pillows are also used for additional support.

There are many benefits to full-body massage. It promotes improved sleep and relaxation, eases stiff joints, aids circulation and digestion. The skin, as well as many internal organs can benefit from it. The warmth of the hands moving over the subject of the massage will warm and relax the skin. A full body massage technique involves a sequence of movements working superficially and deeper into the tissue layers.

With any massage, special equipment is used. For commercial use, a table with a horseshoe shaped head support for ease of breathing while lying face-down. It has a padded surface which is easy to keep clean and remain hygienic. Mats and pillows are also used for additional support.

Not only tables, but chairs are often used. Chairs are very popular for public location massages whereby the client is sitting, fully clad, and can be easily transported from site to site. Generally for massages, the client is in underwear or nude covered in towels, in private with gentle music playing.

The body massage for each person is different, as all our needs are different. Some of us would prefer to wear underwear than be completely nude. Towels do cover the body, and each part is lifted as the part is massage. The key is feeling comfortable with one’s professional massage therapist. Generally, a full body massage entails arms, back, legs and shoulders, and sometimes the abdomen.
